Although a little late this year Barry and I wish everyone a Happy New Year.
2007 was an exciting time for us in that we
finally made a break from the Picturegraph Franchise System and
established our own FotoMasters brand of Digital Art Solutions for your
Special Photos.
This meant we had to create new products and
we believe we now provide a range that more neatly fits with our
clients requirements at an affordable price. Of course you should now
that we now accept all sorts of work and we specialise in the unusual
or unique requests form our clients.
We print all our work locally, photos are
printed as an archival quality photograph on Kodak Endura paper which
is guaranteed to last for the next 100 years at least more like 120
years.
As many of our clients are seeking a Digital
Art Solution to keep as a family history record we believe that this
will ensure the work will be around into the 2100's. Now thats longer than I will be around so that really sets one thinking.
Our canvases are also printed locally and are
supplied with a coating to reduce wear and tear and the effects of
humidity on the final work.
In this short period since the Festive Season
we have made a major upgrade to our IT systems so that we can provide a
faster turnaround (all depends now on the workload, speed and
availability of the Designer) and more secure storage for all our
client files. The Data transfer is now complete and we are just busy
cleaning up all the minor issues arising from the upgrade.
We must thank our three IT Specialist sons for
the idea, design and upgrade support (all the way from London via
Skype)..... without that assistance we would still be dinosaurs and not
the nerds we now feel we are... of course we have a way to go before
would consider ourselves geeks <very large grins>.
Here are a few of Our Special Photos from our
New Years Day part of which was spent on Mount Hotham in Victoria...
its was like being on the top of the world and far from the heat and
humidity of Brisbane at this time of year... just a magic day!!
Keep watching the website I hope to have some of these photos used for products to be available later in 2008.
