Photo restorations, rejeuvenations and alterations.

In the last 12 month we have found many clients who have wanted their older photos restored.  in many cases they were compiling their family tree and had discovered the one and only copy of their grandparent's wedding or a great uncle who served in a war and the photo has survived the attacks of climate, age and insects.
We pride ourselves on the work we do in restoring these photos to something near their former glory and then reprinting them as archival quality photos which are guaranteed to last for another century.    By making copies we can also assist where more than one family member would like a copy of the photo and they are suitable to frame and hang in pride of place in a number of homes.

And now let's discuss wedding photos!    It is quite astonishing how many people have wedding photos like ours that were just fairly ordinary photos many of which were taken by friends and relatives on their own cameras on the day.  Because they have not been taken by professional photographers they may well have captured a special smile or a loving look in between the official photos but the background has not been considered.   When this happens we work with the couple to find appropriate backgrounds to replace the ordinary or we undertake digital editing to remove light poles that "grow out of heads" or to remove a face or hand that might be right behind the couple.
